Specialist laundering and decontamination processes remove contaminants while caring for the garments
Garments are dried using controlled warm-air movement rather than tumble drying, helping minimise stress on the fabrics.
Garments are inspected to assess their condition and ongoing fit-for-purpose requirements.
Preventative maintenance and repairs address identifed issues and help prevent premature garment failure.
Service history and garment information is captured through RFID/barcode tracking before garments return to service.

DECONTAMINATION
LHD Care uses Ozone Infusion Technology as part of its specialist decontamination process. Ozone is introduced during a low-temperature wash cycle, allowing garments to be cleaned and sanitised while minimising unnecessary stress on the protective fabrics.
The process is designed to maintain textile integrity while reducing the potential for tensile, chemical and mechanical damage associated with harsher cleaning processes. Lower wash temperatures also help protect colour fastness and shrinkage performance while supporting longer garment life.
